USA Dance Co.

Dancers who wish to show off their dance skills at local events, learn additional styles of dance, concepts of choreography and master their foundational skills learned in Recreational Dance are invited to open auditions for our Performance Team called “Company.” All auditioning dancers are evaluated based on skill and placed into the appropriate Company Team. In addition to the December and June Showcases, Company learns choreography used to perform at various local events throughout the year like the Suns Half Time Show, Disneyland, State Fairs, Carnivals and much more. Being a Company Dancer means more commitment and is for the dancer who is fully dedicated to their dance career. Company requires dance instruction in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical and technique as well as mandatory participation in INTENSE Dance Camp (annually in July) where Company learns choreography for performances for the entire year. Each dancer is also required to purchase costume(s) for the performance numbers. Participation in performances throughout the year is mandatory for Company dancers.

As a Company Team Member, the dancer may be invited to perform at competitions. These dancers are selected due to their experience, progression and drive to become serious about competitive dance. Competitive dancers commit to additional classes, instruction, performances, higher financial obligation and National Competitions such as KAR, Tremaine, Starbound, Hall of Fame and more. Specific competitions vary from year to year based on location, dates, availability, etc. Some travel is required. This is the level of dance that moves the artist from being a great dancer to an outstanding performer. This program attracts dancers who would consider dance as their profession.

USA Dance Competitive Company

As a Company Team Member, the dancer may be invited to audition for our Competitive Team. These dancers are selected due to their experience, progression and drive to become serious about competitive dance. Competitive Team dancers commit to additional classes, instruction, performances, higher financial obligation and National Competitions such as KAR, Tremaine, Starbound, Hall of Fame and more. Specific competitions vary from year to year based on location, dates, availability, etc. Some travel is required. Our Competitive Team is for the dancer who eats, sleeps, and breaths dance! This is the level of dance that moves the artist from being a great dancer to an outstanding performer. This program attracts dancers who would consider dance as their profession.
